I've had a flare up and everything that could hurt has been hurting, including a new thing.  My hip.  Ugh!!!!

I've been writing like a mad person, but I had to take yesterday off because the pain was blocking my creativity.  I hate that.  So I watched all the episodes of Tru Calling.  I liked!  I wanted more.  Why did it end so abruptly?

You'll notice that I always come late to the game TV wise.  I do prefer to watch episodes without having to wait for a new one to air.  Therefore I avoid the torture that is now, in regards to Doctor Who and Torchwood.  :)

I really need to get caught up on Bones.  I've only watched episode one and two of this season and haven't felt any burning desire to watch the others that have aired.  I wish it weren't so, but 'tis.

I signed up for [livejournal.com profile] nekid_spike 's nekid numbers challenge for this month.  I got Harmony, The woods/forest and a Skull.  LOL!  So I got a bunny.  Remember in Harsh Light of Day when Spike was saying "How we met?  Funny story..."  Well, I tell that story.  And I'm having fun with it.  I think it will be one or two chapters long.

I've also been working on some Spuffy icons for [livejournal.com profile] seasonal_spuffy.  I think I counted twenty-nine icons.  There may be more coming, but my posting day is the eleventh.  With so many other things going on, I may not have time.  Here's a sneak peak.  This will end up being an icon in the collection but I liked it so much that I made a bigger version.  :)
The eyes are a little too blue, but I do that on purpose as they show up better when I reduce the size for icons.

If you do manips or icons, what is your secret to enhancing eyes?  I have a little trick that I do, but I'm curious what other people do.  I really should join some photoshop communities and see how others do this.  I've just sort of figured things out on my own.

I'm currently writing chapter ten of my young adult novel.

I have more notes for my nanowrimo story, and I even made a book cover art for it to inspire me.  I'm sure I'll make a few more of them and much better ones as time goes by.  Not that they'd actually be used, but it's just one more way to get my creative juices flowing.  I'm not even sure of a title yet, but this one has been floating around in my mind.

Don't laugh at my first attempt at book cover art.  It's pretty lame.  LOL!

And last but not least, that collaboration I was speaking of is still in the planning phase.  I have chapter one outlined and my co-author has ideas for chapter two.   While lurking over at the Nanowrimo forums, I saw a post about www.buzzword.com   I'm loving the idea of it and it seems like it would be better than Google Document.  If you collaborate on projects, this is a great tool.  I spoke with someone on the development team and they are considering the idea of putting the chat feature that is available on ConnectNow right onto the buzzword documents for real time brainstorming while working together on a chapter.
