Dawnofme's Fandom Place

I need someone who'd be willing to do a quick beta on a one shot that I wrote for the nekid_spike community.  It's a Bone's/Spike Crossover fic that I need to post by the 24th.  It's just one chapter.  I always spell check and run a grammar check before sending anything off to a beta.  I just need someone to catch those little mistakes that get by me and re check for grammar errors.  I welcome suggestions on how to make a sentence read better and any other con-crit you would be willing to hand out.

It has a PG rating.  It doesn't have a pairing really, I guess you could say Spike/Bones.  Here is the summary:
 
Set sometime in AtS season 5, after Spike got fleshed out and before Fred became Illyria. In an effort to get Spike out of his hair for a few days, Angel sends him on a retrieval mission to Washington D.C.  Fred needs an ancient Egyptian artifact that is on display at the Jeffersonian, for one of her experiments and Spike is just the vamp for the job, since he's so good at nicking things.

I'd like to have story back by Wednesday night or earlier if possible.

I'm sitting on my porch.  Its 5:00am.  I can hear the rooster down the street going off.  Its hot and muggy already and I've turned my porch light off.  I'll be able to watch the sunrise.  Also there is lightening far off.  If I start to hear the thunder, I'll have to sign off.

Our a/c is doing weird things. I can put it on for about 10 minutes and then it shuts the power off to the whole house.  So the house is like an oven.  What a time for this to happen.   We are in a heat wave that's suppose to last until next Tuesday.  It was 115 yesterday.  

I've got three pages of the last chapter finished for my fan fiction.  I'm thinking maybe three more pages and its done.  Then its time to edit it all.  Hopefully I'll get another beta soon and I can start posting chapters.
