I started a new story yesterday. It's a spuffy fic and I have things all worked out it my head. I only have one page written so far, but I'm looking forward to writing more.

I went to the library the other day. I haven't gone in to a library in ages. I have five children, but we buy all our books at garage sales and thrift stores, so we don't go to the library. My middle child is autistic. He's six now, but it's still a challenge to bring him out to public places. Even more so when I have the two younger ones with me. He started Kindergarten again this year, so I might start taking the two younger ones to the library while the others are in school.

I forgot how much I enjoy a library setting. It used to bug my friends when I was in Jr. High and High School, when I would opt to spend a whole lunch period in the school library, instead of hanging out with them. I used to just pick a subject at random and research it and absorb as much about it as I could in one sitting. I'm weird, I know. With the internet, I can get my knowledge fix any time, but there is something about going to a quiet library, gathering an arm load of books and sitting down right there and going through them.

I was looking for books on writing. I had to admit, that I didn't use the computer system to find the books I wanted. I remember using the old card system, so I wasn't real sure how the computer system worked. I'm sure it's easy and next time I go in, I'll check it out. I just went browsing in the non-fiction area. Our library is small and I knew it wouldn't take me long. I found three books and I even got a card and checked them out.

Bones: I downloaded the season opener and watched it yesterday. David B is looking good. Better than he looked on Buffy or Angel. Some men seem to get better looking as they age. Or maybe because I'm aging, it seems that way? I met my husband when I was 20 and he was 26. He was gorgeous then, but now he's even more sexy at 40. Anyways, about Bones. I thought it was good and I was glad that Zach really wasn't gone for good. I like it better when they solve a case in one episode. The only positive for a longer story is that Cynthia Preston might be on again! When I saw her name in the credits, I did a little happy dance. I loved her as Faith on General Hospital. She and Rick Hearst were hot together and I loved her evil character.
