My husband convinced me to buy some novel writing software today. We will see if it's any good. It's coming from the UK, so I'm thinking it will be here in two or three weeks. I have notes scattered willy nilly all over my laptop for the series of three books I plan to write. I'm hoping the software will help me keep things straight and make the actually writing process easier. Scenes come in snipits in my mind, in no particulate order and I jot these down as fast as I can.
So while I wait, I guess I'll start writing my Spike/Buffy fan fiction. It won't be as long as my first non-spuffy story. I'm thinking seven chapters at the most. I have a plot idea and the first scene in my head. I just need to spend some time watching season five again, so I get all my facts straight. That's just such a hardship. I haven't watched season five in a long time.
Buffy episodes I can and do watch over and over are: School Hard, the second half of Becoming, Halloween and Lover's Walk and Something Blue. My favorite episode without Spike is Band Candy. When Snyder says, "Wow Summers! You drive like a spaz." Cracks me up every time. And Giles begging Buffy to hit Ethan: "You're my slayer. Go knock his teeth down his throat." I have watched all of season six and season seven over many many times. Of course I love OMWF and Tabula Rasa.
So I know what will happen. I'm going to end up watching season five and not be able to stop and will have to watch all of six and seven too.
