[Error: unknown template qotd]This is a hard one.  I owned an Atari 2600 when they first came out and I spent many hours at the arcade in the bowling alley when I was a child because my parents were in a league.  If I had to pick one, I'd have to say Mrs. Pac-Man.  But I loved Frogger, Galaga, Dig Dug, Arkanoid and a ton of different pin ball games.  My favorite pin ball machines were later ones from the 1990's though.  Adam's Family and Terminator 2.  Could play those for hours.

My husband and I played Mrs. Pac-Man on our first date.  I was impressed that he could beat me.  LOL!

[Error: unknown template qotd]It wasn't a throw away, but my husband once saw a certain type of audio equipment thingy for sale at a garage sale.  It looked pretty fancy, so he bought it for 40.00.  He looked it up on eBay and they were selling for over 1,000.00 on eBay if they had the gold parts inside.  We opened ours up and sure enough, there was gold!  So we sold it for 1350.00 with a mad bidding war because the one we had was in better condition than past ones and it was the only one up for auction at the time.
[Error: unknown template qotd]No.  LOL!  It's just the opposite.  If we're lost or in a hurry getting to a location we've never been before, my husband will pull up to the curb and yell out to any soul unlucky enough to be walking down the street.  Or he'll do it at a gas station.  I always cringe and slide down in my seat.  People are fearful these days of strangers pulling up next to them in a moving car, but he doesn't see it that way.  He's got to be on time and that's all that matters.

Now, I'd drive around for hours and be late before I'd ever ask a stranger for directions.  It's not a pride thing, it's my shyness thing.

Now with maps, the stereotype holds true.  I turn the map as we go, but he points it north.  His way is much more efficient, but I can't see to read the map if I point it just one way.

[Error: unknown template qotd]None.  I had an open-minded mom who had no restrictions on what I read.  The Judy Blume book  circulated around my school with the "forbidden" chapters dog-eared and I did read it, but I didn't think it was a big deal.  I was reading romance novels by the time I was eleven.

It's funny when I think about it, but I've read every young adult book by Judy Blume, except one of the two forbidden ones.  I just had no desire to read it after reading the "good" chapters.  :)

[Error: unknown template qotd]Dawn is my middle name.  And my user name is a play on that.  I was just starting to get back to writing when I started my journal, so I figured that it was the dawn of me as a writer.
[Error: unknown template qotd]This one is one of my favorites.  Saw it on youtube awhile back ; )

I can't stand most commercials, but there was one about some Oriental food product that used to make me scream at my TV.  It would be a nice enough scene with some guy eating with chopsticks and then "bam" the guy would yell at you while a stupid pow type graphic came up with the name of the food.  Can't remember the name.  Hated the commercial.

Oh, and off topic, but I finally put up my name lj banner.  Thanks immortal_fic for helping me with it.  : )
[Error: unknown template qotd] My first favorite band would have to be Depeche Mode.  I was 13 and my first boyfriend introduced me to New Wave/Alternative music.  I dropped the boyfriend soon after, but kept my love for the music.
