[Error: unknown template qotd]No. LOL! It's just the opposite. If we're lost or in a hurry getting to a location we've never been before, my husband will pull up to the curb and yell out to any soul unlucky enough to be walking down the street. Or he'll do it at a gas station. I always cringe and slide down in my seat. People are fearful these days of strangers pulling up next to them in a moving car, but he doesn't see it that way. He's got to be on time and that's all that matters.
Now, I'd drive around for hours and be late before I'd ever ask a stranger for directions. It's not a pride thing, it's my shyness thing.
Now with maps, the stereotype holds true. I turn the map as we go, but he points it north. His way is much more efficient, but I can't see to read the map if I point it just one way.
