Children are strange creatures and other stuff.

I haven't done a personal post in a while, so I thought I'd do a quick one now.  My eldest is away at winter camp until later today, so the house has felt a little empty without her and the dishes have had to be done by me. 

I was doing the dishes last night and my six year old daughter comes up to me with pen and paper in hand.  She asked, "How do you spell ( How do you spell... )

*slaps forehead*

I have been writing like crazy.  Waiting patiently for the winners to be announced for the short story contest that I entered a while back and waiting to hear from the person who had a copy of my YA novel. 

I've also checked out a few more photoshop tutorials over at  awmpdotnet and made some fic banners for the Art-a-Thon at good__evil.  I won't be able to show them off until March, I think, when all the banners are posted.  If you enjoy making banners for fan fiction, you should make a few and send them alwaysjbj's way for the Art-a-Thon.  It was fun making banners just from my imagination in the hopes that someone might be inspired to write a fic based on the banner.  Sort of opposite of how I usually make banners, for stories already written.
