Summary:  This story can be read alone, but is a companion piece to Soul Survivors (the sequel to Unreal Together).  This piece tells the story of Torch the vampire.  It begins in 1619, the night he met Andra the Vampire Slayer and six months after he was turned.  Because of the time setting, this story does not include any of the BTVS characters.  It does however, include the Buffyverse ideas created by Joss Whedon. 

Torch is adjusting to life in London, but is homesick for his beloved Scotland.  He’s made a decision to distance himself from his sire, whom he adores and is feeling down and lonely.  Then, he meets a Scottish lass with power and beauty that knocks him off his feet.  This is the tale of a forbidden attraction between a vampire and a slayer with a watcher and a sire standing in the way of what they both want.
