My subject title has nothing to do with my post. LOL! Feckless was the word of the day and I just had to use it. I like it.
Been writing poetry for
seasonal_spuffy. My posting day is this Sunday, the 5th. I've got a few more graphic things I want to put together, and because it's the Month of April and poetry month, I will probably have one more Spuffy poem to add to the list by Sunday. I've got two now. The second is a Kyrielle Sonnet. It took me a long time to write, but it was a lot of fun. So for today, I'm going to write a non-Spuffy Kyrielle Sonnet. If it turns out sort of decent, I might post it here. I've decided to try to write a poem a day for all of April, but we shall see if I can accomplish that. I would like to study a form one day and write two poems for that form, so that at the end of the month, I will have conquered fifteen poem types.
Fandom Stuff:
Castle I loved, loved, loved the lastest episode. I'm extremely happy to find that I've liked every episode, as I was worried that the show would start off with a great bang and fizzle out. It could still happen, but so far as I'm concerned, it's still burning bright. I loved Beckett's reaction to Castle saying he's going to make a date with the call girl and I loved the scene where the call girl calls him back and Beckett is chasing him around the office while he smiles and talks into the phone, setting up the date. And the end, where she dresses up and comes to the reading of his book and makes fun of his purple prose. And then finds out that the character based off of her is named Nikki Heat. The whole exchange about it being a stripper name and him reminded her that he said she would be a little slutty and then going on about all the title possibilities: Summer Heat, Heat Wave, In Heat. LOL! I loved it.
And I'm still really enjoying the supporting cast. Esposito and Ryan's dialogue in the dumpster was fun and they are likable guys. Castle's mother is still a hoot and the actress just plays it so well.
Supernatural: This episode was a winner! A huge wave to the fans that had me roaring -- yes, people, roaring -- with laughter.
The whole being squicked out over Wincest was just great! I couldn't have said it better than Sam and Dean did. I had to chuckled when Chuck asks them if they actually had to live all the stuff that he'd written, including the ghost ship. And when they said yes, his response was just giggle worthy and something that I, as a fan fic writer could totally appreciate. "I am so sorry. I mean, horror is one thing, but to be forced to live bad writing."
And Castiel! The most awesomest angel ever written for TV. His little "hint" in front of the soda machine had me clapping. 'Cause, yes, I'm really that into this show.
