First.  The Lakers won tonight!!!  By 30, frickin' crazy points!  They beat the crap out of the defending title holders and I'm so proud.  So that was my first giddy moment of the night.  Though I happen to admire and enjoy the Spurs.  Now, if the Celtics could just win their conference and the Lakers could win the west.   *sigh*  Talk about flashbacks.  Only back in the 80's, I was a Celtics fan, in California.  I was not a popular kid during the playoff seasons.  But Larry Bird was my favorite player.  This time around I'd be for the Lakers.  But, I do like the Celtics team.

Then, a couple of hours ago, my husband sat at his new computer station, across the bed from me, wearing my favorite blue t-shirt of his.  I swear, the man is so movie star gorgeous.  But, when he wears this shirt, that matches his eyes, I go all gooey inside.  In this journal, I go on and on about James Marsters and sometimes about David Tennant, but I'll have you all know, my husband is better looking than them both.  No lie.  The good thing about being a fangirl of my own husband is that I get to "molest" and "grope" him anytime I want.

Speaking of David Tennant, I just got done watching Dr. Who 3x07  Unicorns and Wasps or is it the other way around?  I LOVED this one!  So many good lines.  If American TV was this good, I'd watch more shows.

I'm going to have to watch this episode about ten more times to get all the good stuff from it.   It was jam packed with funny.  Donna asking why all the good ones were always on the other bus and the Doctor remarking about Time Lords, too.  LOL!!!  Lines like this is why I love this show.  There is so much obvious funny and then there are these cute little layers of funny that you might miss, but if you rewind, you'll get them.  Means years of DVD viewing pleasure.

I knew when it was an Agatha Christie mystery time episode, that DT would be wearing the glasses a whole lot.  I wasn't disappointed.  Oh and the little clicky and poppy noises he makes.  Yay!  There was lots of that in this episode.  When the Doctor said that the wasp must have buzzed off, I nearly peed my pants, I laughed so hard.  Stupid pun joke, I know, but it tickled me.  The whole scene in the kitchen with the charades and the kissing for shock treatment had me rolling. The part where the Doctor yells "maiden" and scares Ms. Christie was hilarious.  The whole because we're British and the stiff upper lip thing made me smile.  When she Donna is all dressed up in the flapper outfit in the beginning and she's spouting all those quips and stuffy greetings.  I just love that kind of stuff.  And when she's ordering the butler about with her "Pip Pip".  LOL!

This episode is worth watching over a few times.  I took quite a few screencaps.  If I have time, some icons should be coming in a few days.  They will be mostly of the Doctor in his glasses.  Yes, it's a fixation.  Not many men can pull off sexy in a pair of thick rimmed glasses.  But it does something for me.

Also, I've been working on an LJ banner.  [livejournal.com profile] immortal_fic really helped to put it in shape for me.  We had a certain pic of David Tennant with him pointing, but I think I got a better one from a screencap of this episode.  We'll have to see.

Please forgive all the typos and giddiness that makes no sense.  I typed this up in a hurry and I'm tired.
